Sissoko next on Juventus list
Juventus are pushing for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko after PSG slammed the door on Blaise Matuidi, but there are other options.

This evening Paris Saint-Germain patron Nasser Al-Khelaifi told Le Parisien that Matuidi “will not be leaving and in fact will extend his contract. He remains an icon for our club.”

The Bianconeri must now turn elsewhere for a Paul Pogba replacement only days away from the transfer deadline on August 31.

Mediaset Premium claim the next target on the list is Sissoko, who had been linked with Inter before they agreed a €45m deal with Sporting CP for Joao Mario.

Sky Sport Italia also put Newcastle United and France talent Sissoko as the first choice post-Matuidi.

The 27-year-old is eager to leave Newcastle after their relegation from the Premier League and is available for around €30m.

Lower down the list are Axel Witsel, though Zenit proved themselves to be very tough negotiators.

Luiz Gustavo of Wolfsburg and Porto’s Hector Herrera are other alternatives.

If Newcastle thinks he is key to their promotion to the Premiership, then he is easily worth that amount.
Thing is winning in the championship is simply not having premiership players, the key is having players who understand the championship, in terms of the opposition, physicality, it is a real anyone can beat anyone and arguably one of the toughest divisions in the world, that said Sissoko should not be seen as a key to their promotion

Irrelevant. Sissoko's valuation comes down to Newcastle and their management and they clearly think he's more valuable to them than 15-30m euros is, and that's pretty much it.

No. Replying to your opinion isn't me taking it into consideration and reflecting on whether or not a "smart" guy like you might have an interesting point regarding Mike Ashley, it's merely to make it clear for a "smart" guy like you, that it's Newcastle valuation of Sissoko that's interesting.
