He did? He's been rather good of course, i like him, he's a rather good player in the Ligue, but i don't think he's one of the best in the tournament.
:agree: Very good.

I'm not saying he's one of the best though, that was just commenting on that game last night. I agree with the names you mentioned aswell, as usual.

I didn't mean to put a question mark btw, i meant to say "he did" without the question mark :p

True, same thoughts here. Though i've seen him play on the right on occasion at Bayern, especially when they are trailing late in the game, Van Gaal usually moves Muller to the wing and puts in an additional striker.

His movement is nice from that position and he seems to do well with the little bit of extra space you get when playing wide.

Yup, i like how he takes the ball from the flanks to the inside by linking up with Klose/Ozil. Those three seem like they've been playing together for ages.

Excellent player.

Who gave the pass to Özil for the fourth goal?
It was Ozil who gave the pass to Muller for the fourth goal, your talking about the second goal i think where Muller cooly played it to Podolski to score.

swein...em sweinie was terrific today but Ozil is the player that has seriouly stood out for me,he has been excellent in that role,he is controling the final third with ease but a lot of hard work is being done by bastian behind him.

Robinho has been excellent for Brazil(seriously does he even try at club level?) especially with Kaka looking overweight and not match fit,he has given Brazil the spark that otherwise would make them a poor attacking team. would be interesting to see how they would get on without him.

Uruguay have been excellent in the final 3rd but they have a midfielder (who's name scapes me right now) who has been excellent,a realdriving force and workhorse in there

The Uruguyan your referring to is probably Diego Perez, yet another player who is brilliant at NT level but is quite average at club level.
