I watched him play live last year in the Euro U-21. I was at the opening game against Spain and he was at least a step above the rest of the team. It was so obvious and he actually helped them win the cup.

I don't think he'll stay in the Bundesliga after the World Cup even though I wish he does.

No they actually played together. Ozil played in a more withdrawn role on the left side of a diamond midfield, while Diego was the attacking midfielder.

Not necessarily, he's quite versatile up top so it won't be a problem for him to take a role. His style is not suited for La Liga though.
