Because we didn't want wingers. Why would we replace a world class player like Nedved with another world class winger like Robben, when we can play 4-3-1-2, even though we didn't have the players for 4-3-1-2?

Stupid Bayern decided to buy him and play with wingers and they couldn't even win a treble.
