This Joe Kelly character has already gotten on my last nerves, and it's only 5 games into the season.

Nothing cooler in the league than Pressley handing the ball to Osuna.

Is that cooler than Cody hitting his 5th home run of the season, and it being a grand slam off of Mad Bum to boot?

I'm watching a documentary about Ted Williams on Netflix. You look at his numbers, and realize that he lost 5 prime years of his life serving 2 tours of duty. The greatest hitter to ever live.

This doucmentary is right. He is what John Wayne wished he could be. Without the racism, of course

Didn't he also hit a home run on a pitch that bounced in front of the plate?

The REALLY amazing thing about Vlad was that for a power hitter like him who had no clue what a strike zone is, I don't think he ever struck out more than 100 times in a seaason

Yeah. I remember that too. Was it a home run or just a hit though?

It’s too bad no team picked him up after 2011 season. He was only 36 and just hit .290 with 163 hits on a terrible Orioles team. Could easily have gotten to 3000 hits with another 3 years in the league.

I recall that he hit a HR practically off his knees and it was scored as such

The guy was a beast in Montreal, Anaheim. I hope his son offers even 1% of the thrills his father gave me as a youth watching the great game
