Will talk with the roma gd before deciding his future.
He feels he isn't wanted by the fans. Sabatini wants Mirko to change also. If mirko agrees with that he will stay at AS

Conte is the one pushing strongly for Vucinic. Roma are willing to sell for 18m eur now (they initially wanted 20). We want to make it cash+player by including Amauri or Iaquinta, but as said earlier, Roma doesn't want our older players. Roma want Marchisio and according to Roma's directors "the deal will be done in a heartbeat" if we accept such a swap, but we don't want to sell Marchisio.
Negotiations continue...

Why do we want to keep Marchisio if we are getting Vidal and can get Inler?

We're not getting rid of Marchisio. No way.
We got rid of Aquilani and we'll first sell Melo, Sissoko, even Pirlo and Pazienza, before our directors even start thinking about selling Marchisio.

I'm talking about this summer. Unless a crazy offer comes (which won't come), in times when our team fucked up twice in a row and we're working on winning the fans again by making a stronger team, the last thing our directors will do is to sell a Turin born and bred 25 year old occasional captain.

I'm trying to figure out what's Conte's idea with Vucinic. I suspected that Vucinic is his choice and now Gazzetta confirmed that he's the one strongly pushing for Mirko. I wonder why is Vucinic so much needed. What's Conte's planned formation?

I always thought Vucinic would assume a role like Reginaldo's at Siena.

I know. If we sell any midfielder it will be Sissoko and/or Melo.

Has Conte publicly came out and tell what's his formation for the coming season ? Everyone been talking about 4-2-4 but somehow i dunt remember seeing any article quoting Conte's word on this. Vucinic over Bastos would make sense if we are playing 4-3-3 with Mirko playing on the left side of the forward 3.

I know, it doesn't sound right.

Preferring Vucinic over Bastos implies that we won't be using 4-4-2. That's unless Conte lost his mind and plans to play Mirko as LW, but I doubt it's the case.
In situation when we bought Quag and Matri, we have Del Piero and we're trying to buy a superstar (attacker), pushing for Vucinic implies that we plan to play with at least 3 attackers, be it a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1.

You're probably right but if the lad realizes he won't get a chance with all the new faces and competition in his position he might well ask for it, then they'll have to sell.

I don't think Marotta is trying to offload Melo either. That would be retarded.
