yes, Dzeko was scoring regularly for VW and even continued to have a decent scoring record at City. he was key scorer in both their title runs and only really regressed last year. had he joined us back then i guess he would have stayed here atleast for the 1st 3 scudetti and perhaps for last seasons too

Krasic was Beppe's buy.Agree he would've been gettable if he was available for 25M but he went to City for like 30M+ euros and in January.We wouldnt have matched that offer imo.

Dieter Hoeness said back then that Dzeko has a 40M release clause that is active until 30 June 2010 and that after that he would cost even more. they managed to hold on to him for that summer and then sold him for less in January to City after it was said that Mancini really wanted him. we had no chance that summer, maybe if he stayed the entire 2011 season in VW we could get him the summer after

I am one of the very few people to have seen Diego score live for Juventus (against and in Bologna, 2010). It was the same game Del Piero gave that absolutely wonderful assist for a Candreva goal. Candreva who was excellent that game btw.
