40M was a massive price either way which we were prepared to pay.
Similarly we're more intent on paying close to 50M for Gomes than meeting Pjanic's release clause.

Draxler is a strange one as he was actually quite good in the CL but struggled in the Bundesliga. Wouldn't write him off just yet as he has clear quality to succeed.
