He had really good 30-35 minutes. He didn't hide from the ball but asked for it. Made 2-3 really good passes, especially 2 through balls to Higuain, and pressed well.
He actually did what we all expected from him when we signed him. But it lasted only 30-35 minutes.

He was never the player to give 80-90 minutes at top level, but we're right to expect at least 60 minutes of this. The opening 30 minutes tonight were great, but not enough.
At least it's better than the horror shows in October and November.

He's here to pump numbers. And he's doing it.

He's a player who can make magic. But yeah, he disappears. Same happened in Rome.

But you know what, if he wasn't vanishing, he'd be worth triple of what we paid and he'd be top 3 midfielders in the world.

I actually don't mind him one bit here. But sadly he needs the right players next to him. Too bad we can't pair him with Marchisio and Vidal/Pogba. It would make our midfield absolutely fantastic. But oh well. There's Sturaro.
