On a serious note, this guy needs a vacation, he is exhausted. I know it's not the time for that, but we are killing him this way, and will lose him with an ugly injury. And he better stop diving ffs.

One-dimensional, extremely predictable and overrated...useless when double marked, cannot shoot! Dont care for - reps, it is the truth for me!
One-dimensional-yes
extremely predictable-yes
overrated-:sergio:
cannot shoot-maybe
Still effective? hell yes..

he just need to cut inside more often and try shooting from the long range,he should learn from nedved the long range shot and put in hours of practice of the same.

He still get us what we need most of the time.

Even in his worst days he's better than 80% of the top players playing in his position in Europe. Even when he's not playing his best it takes him two runs to create havoc in our oppositions penalty box.

Overrated? Soap it, have you soaped it before?

Phahah, better than 80% of the top players on his position!
Thats gold, you know! Alvarez was better than him today! He is predictable dude, when you position your body properly to his runs and thats not hard, cuz the only thing he does is lead the ball to his right, he is easy target, speacially when u double mark him! Speed's what saves him, cuz he is the "one trick" man..

+he is diver, and a bad one!

Very effective no doubt,he should take a day to learn new skills, you know, kinda like, step overs and then accelerate,I saw Solomon Kalou doing that kind of trickery yesterday, and all the time he did it,he got passes players so easily..I think Krasic can do even better

Are you serious???Alvarez, did you see him do anything else when Motta came on,It was due to sorensen that he looked great,it was because sorensen couldnt keep up with the speed..Krasic made countless corners, and at least 2 good opportunities on the 2nd half alone..
So Krasic today >> Alvarez

:howler: wonder how many players in the world are effective once double marked...

as for vacation talk, just remember that he was playing over the summer in the russian league so he is practically on a season and a half streak by now

Do you even know what's the game is all about? Alvarez was better than him today yes that's true, but once upon a time Chimenti played a better game than Buffon in the Cagliari vs Juve game 5years ago does it make Chimenti better goalkeeper than buffon? Is this how you measure football players and rate them?

You know, the more he dives the more I love him. Nedved was one, Maradona too, Del Piero is at times, who isn't? Or are you the Kaka type of person who dives and pretends to love Jesus at the same time?

Go play somewhere else.

Back to the old diving thing again and what I said months ago, in recent games it has cost him legitimate fouls and the one today will sway referees further, that's how their minds work. He's not benefitting from doing it, he needs to learn Nedved and Del Piero's 'take contact and fall' ability :D

and world cup too, and he joined us early.. Man I am very worried about him. I would give him one week vacation since Martinez is back. He needs it very bad.
