Juventus have been told to use caution in their approach for CSKA Moscow winger Milos Krasic as former director Luciano Moggi raises doubts over the move.

Reports suggest Juve's move for the player has been curbed after CSKA Moscow showed opposition to an initial €12.5 million bid.

And Moggi has told Juventus to think twice before digging deeper because they will not be getting the new Pavel Nedved.

"I know Krasic. He is strong, but he is not a champion," Moggi wrote in his column on Tuttomercatoweb.com.

"I heard of the comparisons with Nedved. He looks like him, that's it.

"I hope they have some form of document for the player because it would be a shame to let him go as there are other teams that are interested."

Buying players often represents a transition for clubs. Moggi feels enhancement should also come from the top.

"With this new structure Juventus have improved. Andrea Agnelli is a young president who is capable, but more importantly he is a Juventus fan and he is competent from a football perspective," concluded Moggi.

Does anyone else remember Gaby Milito constantly repeating that he wanted Juve with us being the only team interested and Zaragoza demanding an extra few million and holding firm and Barca coming out of nowhere and signing him?
