But at this point in time City are far more of a football power then Juventus. We have very little clout these days and miss out on most of the top targets we have. City have alot of potential .. just look at some of the players they own, Silva, Adebayor, Tevez, Yaya, Kolo, Santa Cruz, Barry, Ireland, Robinho, De Jong... they are all pretty highly rated big name players. I look at City and see a very bright future for them .. i can't say the same for us

Our history and presitge STILL offers considerable pull to decent players...like Krasic...and Dzeko. True enough we lack the financial clout of City, but then again, so does every other club in the world.

Most players, and people in general, want to earn as much as they possibly can, especially when doing a job which they love. However, when I see an up and coming winger, coveted, or at least enjoyed, by a wide variety of teams, coaches, fans...and he has main suitors of City, a bunch of turkish swine, and us. I assume he can earn better money at fenerbace, as well as more obviously, at city, but he has eyes only for us. WHY???? Because of our history, because of our reputation. We are far from dead, or dying. At worst...hopefully now on the comeback trail, and this season, we will edge a little back towards our position of a true powerhouse of italy and europe. Baby steps must be the way forward, after the horrorshow of last year...

but NO, not ALL decent players care just for $. Thankfully so...

Even if we sign a pretty good player in krasic who does want to come here. I think our days of competing for the very best players are far away. It is nice to have Krasic be so determind to come but it is very rare. Most players go where the money is .. like Tevez and Silva .. or to teams that are winning like Villa and Di Maria.

It will take us alot of time to turn this situation around but I really hope we can. By building solid foundations under Del Neri.

no beppe doesnt...he has done well to get bonucci and motta here..i think they are positive transfers, but martinez and pepe are not exactly moggi like type dealings. So from that perspective, secco has rubbed off on him for now.

I know they signed Silva, Yaya, and etc, and I don't give a damn about it. They are still Man Shitty and they will always be. The 2nd best team in Manchester, and will always be, I can't wait until the EPL start so I can see Man Utd stomp alll over them, and kick them aroud as it should be. History is made on the football pitch and not in the transfer market, and they have no history. A small club with a lot of money, once this Arab guy feel less interested, he will move to another thing to entertain himself. I love the way Juve is structured, you spend off what you have, and financially we are among the best in the world. We are lucky to be supporting a team like Juve, appreciate what you have, or you will regret losing it one day.

I think we should focus on Dzeko. There are much more quality wingers out there than strikers. I'd rather pass on Krasic and see where Sanchez, Hazard, Elia, Affelay, Bastos, Vargas, Navas, Mata, Di Maria, Marin, Bale and who else there is are doing in a years time.

As Alternatives to Dzeko not that many good options come to mind. Benzema, Pazzini and... well there are prob more I can't remember them right now...

good point but if we pay 30+m for dzeko we will not be able to afford any of the above wingers.

Not this year, but we could add another winger next year.

Camo, Gio, Martinez, Pepe and Lanzafame can do the job this season.

Would be interesting if Agnelli pondered to break the bank for both Dzeko and Krasic had this stupid rule not been introduced.

thats what im talking about mate ....we can live with our striker right now, if we have a strong support from midfield and 2 side of decent fullback. Otherwise we're not in champions league remember?but i think we can compete for scudetto and europa league this season...so get Krasic Beppe!
