Then we have to start banning folks for being ridiculously optimistic as well.

Free speech.
That too, like those who already gave us the trebble last season after beating Roma in the second match. But anyway it's always like that on juventuz, either winning all silverware or doooooomed. But all in all, Diego should stay.

Erm guys are you forgetting the fact that we are moving towards the relegate zone, rather than title challenger, our last champions resign and we are full of average/cheap players and ridiculous coaches?
It seems to me than the plan to bring us down is rather working as planned. We no longer represent a threat, not even in a SF film, where little green men evaporate tough looking bodybuilders... (Unless you expect from bonucci, motta, grosso, pepe and del neri to drag us out of mediocrity, like they did with their top teams and NT... )
Cronios, seriously dude. Relegation zone? Are you on meth?

I am not sure you are being serious here but if you were I am saving this post to rub it in your face. Your really deserve such treatment for saying such bullshit.
Cronios we know we've had a poor season but saying we are going towards relagation is abit much.
I don't think you guys understood his point. He didn't say we will be in the relegation zone, but rather that our trend in results is DOWN, meaning that we are moving in the direction of the relegation zone. That's much different from saying that Juventus "will be relegated." He's talking about a comparative range.

I agree with him from a trend analysis perspective. The results last season combined with the fact we based our future on one good season with Sampdoria, a team that would finish mid-table if Juventus and Milan weren't completely mediocre, are not the best of signs. But from position only, there is no doubt we have gotten worse over the years, and it is up to Marotta and Del Neri to change that fact. I'm not optimistic about Del Neri.

Even though I agree with you I still cannot say that we are heading towards the wrong direction because trends tend to change. I don't trust Del Neri and I have no idea who Marotta is but it is way too early to judge their work, it is even too early to judge their mercato. So here we go again, the same atmosphere at Juventuz, some say we're doomed, others say we'll win all the silverware we participate in and only a few criticize both parties.
