I wrote a play called Kill Bill (Shatner) this year, and it was made by the college dramatical society, even won best original script at their internal awards.

The plot: William Shatner joins a production of Hamlet, but turns out to be awful for the role, forcing the assistant director to try to kill him.

In three parts - these were amateurs putting on a one-off, so forgive the dodgy acting, and occasional half forgotten lines.

Actually, no. I was at the back of the audience. The big cop is a friend of mine though.

Congrats on the excellent effort Mikhail, I have to ask though, what inspired the choice of Hamlet? Were you worried that a college audience would not connect with a more obscure play, perhaps?

The idea originated in an odd conversation with a friend of mine which somehow drifted into speculation about how William Shatner would deliver the "To be or not to be" speech.
