    Oh boy

On topic, I actually like the OS. Except that tons of apps and games are incompatible with it presently.
For that you have the perfect solution. You can either switch the compatability mode, or simply use the virtual machine of Win XP that comes along with Win 7.

Funny, in over 3 months I'm using the OS, as my primary, I've yet to encounter any app or game I tried, that was incompatible. There were a few like Daemon Tools and AutoCAD that popped a warning about being incompatible, yet they perform flawlessly.
I was not able to run the PES 2010 demo due to Dx9.dll file missing. Plus Mirrors Edge(with patch) crashed like crazy, not to mention FIFA 09 crashing too.

I've been running fifa09, fifa10, pes09, pes10, all fine. Must be your hardware, mate.

    Which GPU do you have?
Radeon HD3870. It's a little older now, but still runs everything I throw at it on max details, since my HDTV's native resolution is the low 1360x768. With a E8400, 4GB DDR2, I run pretty much everything flawlessly.

Never touched this thread. I just saw the title and burst out laughing at work. My colleagues want to know what's so funny but I can't share that with them.
