anyone who have tried upgrading from windows vista home basic to windows 7 professional? because I downloaded a copy free from e-academy, but I can't upgrade windows, I can only do a clean install.

Home Basic is not applicable for upgrade. Only these will work.

Indexing stops after a while but this just goes on & on. Happened when I tried Vista out too. Ubuntu seems like bliss.
