Are you insinuating that Morata was a 4th striker on the club last year? If anything, he was 2 A, just behind Mandzukic, as evidenced by the number of minutes. This isn't about simply adding another striker just to have 4. This is about replacing Morata with a player of at the very least, equal talent and value. IF this club wants to truly make that big step in Europe, you don't replace someone like Morata with some low grade 4th striker and move Zaza up the chain.

With four top midfielders and Dybala behind him (4-3-1-2 with Pjanic in the hole), bomber types won't have trouble scoring. But why not aim higher? He's more of a modern all-around forward than Zaza. Can pass quite well. Had 10 assists this last year. Zaza had 1 assist.

But a 4th choice striker immediately leads just about anyone to assume that you are talking about, well, just that. A 4th choice level type of player. And those players are obviously much easier to find than someone to replace Morata's skillset, along with his youth. So, in my opinion, yes, it will be difficult to find an ADDITIONAL striker that has the qualities of Morata, especially at the cost of 30 million.

We need Morata replacement, heavy rotation starter quality player that will compete and eventually get Mandzukics spot, this will take substantial investment to replace Morata. So yeah we are in clear need to get it done, and can't just settle with another 4th choice striker being signed since the problem is Zaza is too limited to fighting for starting spot.

Zaza already said he wants to stay so he must be fine with his role at the club. He gets a good amount of opportunities for a 4th choice striker. There's always a good chance that someone gets injured and he'll be called upon as well. You'd take a chance on that in a team like Juve.
