Stars who died before their times:

1.) Michael Jackson
2.) Elvis Presley
3.) Marilyn Monroe
4.) James Dean

In that order of magnitude IMO.
I agree and imo

5. Kurt Cobain
6.Jimmy Hendrix
7.Jim Morrison
8. Tupac
8. Heath Ledger
9. Janis Joplin
10. Freddy Mercury
11. Layne stayley
12. Marck Bolan
13. River Pheonix
14. John Belushi
15. Andy Kaufman
15. Jeff Buckly

They are all some of my Fav artists ever. So sad. There are loads more like John Lennon, Bruce Lee and Bob Marley who i aint mentioned but dont want to think about it too much because its too depressing.

Heartbroken. I was meant to see him on the 24th July, my life long dream was to see him live. Im devastated. The greatest singer since Elvis. Completely shocked.

Shocking news. He was so young.

He was a star b4 I was born, but I still became a fan of his music despite not really listening to other music in that genre. That was his power. Arguably the greatest entertainer the music industry has ever seen, and it's a shame a musical genius has died so young.

RIP

Music has died IMO. There will never, ever, be anyone half as talented as him in our lifetime. Hes the last true superstar.

They just showed pictures of the LA County Sheriffs transporting the body by helicopter to the LA County Coroner. They showed them placing him in the Coroners van.

This is terrible. One of the best singers ever in pop-music.

Didn't really have much left to give musically though. I reckon his kids are going to be the most fucked up people going round when they're older, they were already going to be weird, this will push them over the edge.

Wow, this board is dramatic. Music has died? Music will never die...

IMO, Hendrix surpasses everyone on that list.

    RIP Michael.
Let's not argue about who is more important than who here, the likes of Lennon, tupac, smalls, Jackson and ledger should all be treated with the same respect as it should be when anyone dies. It's not right to start comparisons, everyone is entitled to be treated and respected in their own right.

Maybe not. MJ was a pretty wacky guy, perhaps they'll have more conventional care now.
