Your thinking of it the wrong way. Forget about Del Piero. Di Vaio was long gone before Micco. Juve ditched Micco in the last day in order to make so room for Zlatan. Capishe?
Di Vaio left because Del Piero was picked in front of him, and Mico was unhappy for the same reason. I'd rather we sold Alex and kept Mico.

It's ironic actually.Miccoli and DV left because they didn't want to be Del Piero's sub,yet Del Piero himself ended up being sub to the person that replaced them.

ironic is the fact that some people are saying that those people who left to let DP start are better than the people who substituted them and now are putting DP on the bench :dazed:

Does anyone here actually remember Di Vaio's play last season?? Moments of brilliance interspersed with moments of sheer frustration.

And Miccoli? Definitely had some key shots and I think was arguably our best forward last season. But he was never going to be starter material for Juve.

Miccoli and Di Vaio are gone, and they were dispensed with for arguably decent reasons. Time to get over it.

Sheesh. It's like the friend who dumps his unnoteworthy girlfriend for someone new, and then he starts idolizing the past when the new girlfriend shows signs of her own imperfections.

well we couldn't have a better offer.the problem is that we paid a lot to have him
Right. Still a good thing, getting Zlatan instead of him, but probably lost too much in the way of money for the deals.

Exactly. If we didn't sell Miccoli we wouldn't have got Zlatan, it's that simple.

I don't know who I prefer. They both have good qualities but their roles differ so it's not really fair to compare them. I think Miccoli is definitely a smarter player though. Zlatan doesn't seem to have that footballing brain when it comes to tactical positioning that DP and others have. He's brilliant at combining his strength and skill to turn a defender, but his decision making is really poor. However, it doesn't make much sense going on about this because Miccoli is gone, we just signed Mutu, and Ibrahimovic is having a pretty solid debut season. Forza Zlatan!

It is always DelPiero right???
Yes. It's Miccoli himself that said that, not me. And Di Vaio also said he was frustrated because Del Piero started in front of him even when Marco was in better form.

Del Piero was one of the reasons why Miccoli wanted to leave but Juve wouldn't have sold him if they weren't planning to get someone new. Cap wanted Zlatan and he sold Fabrizio to make room for him.

Juve sold miccoli, we could have sold zalayeta and keep Di Vaio or Miccoli..
