Well you are half right :D

Seriously, Maiden aren't so bad but I just don't like the singer.
That is normal,, dont worry,,,,Bruce dickinson since he was a young rocker, have had the voice of a drunk grandfather.

At the beggning i was like "oh shit, this guy sings really ugly, he fok off all the songs!".

But after heard a lot of iron maiden songs,, very good indeed, i have changed my thoughs.

A lot of singers around the world praise Dickinson,,,not because his beautifull voice, its because his voice is very powerfull, and match with the lyric style of iron maiden (some kind of satanik, just take a look at the cd´s cover).

They have very good lyrics!!! just chek this

The trooper, Aces high, Hallowed by the name, Fear of the dark.

The bad thing abot this guys is, that they are more or lees satanik,, but lately they ave thrown away their satanik style in composition.

Anyone remember Skid Row? And do Faith No More count as Metal? they were great.

I remember Cinderella, I like Long Cold Winter and Don't Know What You Got Til It's Gone. Could never stand Bon Jovi and Iron Maiden, crap!
I saw Skid Row when they supported Jovi, before the fall out!

    18 and Life was great!

excuse me... But since when is Jovi considered to be Metal? It's more like pop-rock.

Just wondering how he got mixed up in this subject.

I don't consider it metal....it was mentioned further up....
Yeah... I know, I saw that after I posted. ;)

Guess I should make my contribution to the thread.
Years ago I loved metal and hard rock. Metallica, ACDC, Guns 'n' roses... that sort of stuff.
But theese days I listen to the "softer" stuff. Incubus, Foo Fighters, Creed, Bush.... and so on and so forth.

    narh it can't be a age thing... I'm only 20 ;)

I think it's because the hard rock isn't what it used to be. Theese days it's all about pricks like Linkin' Park and other crap like that.

Your lucky at 20, I can't remember that age!!!!!!!!!!

I dont think Hard Rock is as good now as it was years ago....Not when we had Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Purple, Dio, Gary Moore, Scorpions, Ozzy, Maiden etc, but then that was my teenage years!!

Yeah, sadly in the 80´s i was a baby,

We are living now in an era were the metal is at 4r 5 place.

And this nu-metal bands,,,,arrgh, they really make me sick.

When i compare the wondefull melodies,,,and solos,,of the bands of the 80´s and now,,this white rappers screaming stupidities with a dj in his ass, makes me really sick.

    long live to heavy metal!
