I'm no fan of Messi, but he just added two more goals. In total it's 88 goals in a year, now it's one goal every four days. Any way you look at it, it's a huge achievement.

That also shows the ridiculous amount of games Barca play each year, for each trophy there seems to be a meaningless supercup or two and a few other even more meaningless super-duper cups if you win the already meaningless supercups. a regular spanish midtable club with no european commitments and a fairly early knock-out at the league cup plays half the games Barca play each year since 2006, no wonder everybody is sick of them.
