Did you watch Ronaldo when he was at Barca ?
Yea, and he won shit there. Look Ronaldo's talent is undoubted, while him delivering as much as Messi both on club/NT level and on personal level is debatable.

All Messi needs ATM is a WC win and he'll surpass Ronaldo IMO.
Ronaldo at Barca was an equal sensation, true that.

As was Maradonna.
Maradonna was at his best in Napoli, while with Argentina he was a phenomena.

 wow simply wow even you
I didnt say its my opinion, but that Maradona said it in an interview while back, that Messi showed/acheived quite bit for his age, more then he was at that age (in WC 82 to be exact, wasnt at the top of the world as he latter was, not that means Messi is better, but rapid succession in his career in last 2 years).

For a 22 year old, he's incredible. C. Ronaldo and he aren't on totally different planes, but at 22, Ronaldo didn't have that kind of consistency or end product. I can't compare him to Maradona - and I don't think you really can compare players across generations - but if he's not been nobbled by injuries or ego, he'll be the player of his generation.

Its enough to say that the WHOLE world, including everyone who seen them both live weekly, are even comparing them SERSIOUSLY, says everything about the insane level of talent Messi has (and yeah Maradona saying it himself says alot, considering the kind of guy he is, not exactly a bullshitter or type who wants to share ze glory too easily).

Cristiano is a hyper functional super player, great one, and will surpass lots of modern greats in due course in his own way, but saying with all due respect to him, based on their careers and talent shown so far, he is not comparable to Messi in overall, talent and heights they can reach. Defenitely comparable in overall top of the world level they hold rather exclusively (its not like Maradona was alone in that level and so undisputed all the time, there were Zico's Platini's etc, just like Pele had Garrincha's and et al), but which one is the better one should really obvious for all .

For me, seasons doesnt say anything in itselfs, for years its been obvious to me Messi is better then Cristiano, even that insane season Cristiano had 2 years ago, I didnt think Ronaldo is better (as in overall), but that he has a better season more or less. Messi has been held back injuries (3 first years of his career), and being in the shadow of Ronaldinho too much. Read a real candid interview of how R80 is his best budd, and how he felt it was fun but also very relaxing to know playing with him meant you could rely on him, Messi since then has taken obvious leaps and thats due to the responsibilities he has to take as the main man, evolved as a player, decision making, how he goes for goals, and assists (used to not score much, but also not pass much, dribbled everyone, but never had a real sense for when to not overdribble).

NT level ? he won 2 world cups , yeah he didn't play in 94' but was in the squad :D , in 2002 he won the golden boot and probably was the best player of the tournament .

how old are you btw ?

That's why i said debatable

Why? :scared:
oh i missed the debatable part , all though when it comes to delivering for NT theres nothing to debate Ronaldo is in front of Messi , for now at least.

As for the age part , i asked you that because you said you did watch him play for barca but that was 14 years ago , you were 4 at the time , even if you did watch him i doubt you remember anything about it

Isn't Ronaldo the all time top scorer of the world cups ?! I remember i read that Info somewhere. To be an all time top scorer of the world cup with all the horrible injuries that he had thats pretty much a phenomenal record.
