They're are both great players on thier own right but not as great like the legends before them such as Zidane or Baggio and Maradona for example. Plus it has nothing to do with Juventus cause our club will never have a player like one of them in awhile until we at least have our new stadium.

So by using a metaphor i am offending people? I thought you were from Britain where; if you are strongly supporting someone is it metaphotically refered to it as sucking someones cock, same way you say someone who is being arsey has sand in their vagina. If you want to give me a card for something that is a common metaphor which to my understanding (from hearing it all over the place on the internet) is a well known saying, then that is pretty pathetic, but do what you want mod
ok so if i don't agree with you from now on i will say "why don't you go fuck your mother" me and my mates say that to each other all the time and it is meant as an off-cuff remark,no offense taken....

or maybe you can stop telling people to suck others cocks because i am pretty certain 95% of people having a reasoned debate would find such a comment out of proportion with the ongoing discussion and see it as a verbal antagonising

They are completely different players, so i dont get the point in comparing the two of them. One area that Ronaldo will always have over Messi is physical strength, and thats the reason that Messi couldn't make it in any league other than la liga.
That's what the English media said about Torres.
If messi came to the epl or serie a he would get battered and wouldn't be able to do anything. He is really short, and hes not built. He is lucky in spain that theres only one team that are really really physically strong and thats atletic bilbao, because they only use basque players and because the basque people are built to fuck. Messi has a terrible record against Atletic Bilbao.
That's racist and it makes no sense, and this coming from the guy who hates racism. Don't stereotype.

Well maybe if people who live here and watch the league tell are telling you that he couldnt cut it then you should listen to them, or maybe you're knowledge of the league is more than mine? Iv only lived here for 20 years and watched it for 17.

When you are done sucking messi's cock i am sure ronaldo would like some attention.
Yea, that was a bit out of line.

Exactly. I can understand people saying Ronaldo is a better player even though i strongly disagree. But some of the arguments used for Ronaldo have been absolutely rubbish and just show that the said posters have not watched both players enough.
Or they have some sort of bias that doesn't allow them to look at the player objectively. I hate Ronaldo but I will concede he's one of the top two players in the world.

 telling you Andy,it is taking restraint of epic proportions not to go crazy on their asses,i can handle reasoned debate but some of tehse posts are complete jokes

have you ever seen someone try and get the ball off of Messi?he may eb small but he is extremely strong, that is one of his biggest strengths,he simply brushes past bigger men who attempt to muscle him off teh ball

sure he does not have the explosive shot of Ronaldo, but that is about the only thing he has over Messi IMO

EXACTLY:agree:
That's the thing, it's not easy to push Messi off the ball because he's got such a low, but solid, center of gravity and he's quick. And if you watch the player he very rarely gets shut down by physical players.

They are completely different players, so i dont get the point in comparing the two of them. One area that Ronaldo will always have over Messi is physical strength, and thats the reason that Messi couldn't make it in any league other than la liga.
They are very similar players who play similar positions.

This is what I disagree with mainly. Last time he played against an EPL club (Man Utd) it took 3 players to bring him down and he still got up quicker than the rest of them (still in possession) ready to continue playing. The big players of Serie A or EPL wouldn't be able to keep up with his pace or footwork either, it's not as if the thugs of Hull or Stoke City are blessed with lightening pace.

It's completely different to a player like Giovinco who really isn't built and probably our weakest player.
Exactly. That's the main point here. If Messi is waltzing around the likes of Manure and Chelsea, how would he not succeed in the Prem? Those are their best clubs...

Some of the posts here are just absurd.
