Juventus have confirmed Fabio Capello as their new coach.
The respected tactician has quit Roma for a new challenge and signed a three-year deal on Friday.

Juve were left looking for a new manager after opting to sever ties with Marcello Lippi.

The Old Lady of Turin were tipped to move for Monaco boss Didier Deschamps, but the availability of Capello opted them to switch their attentions to Rome.

Capello has seemingly grown frustrated with Roma's lack of financial muscle in the transfer market.

The sale of Walter Samuel to Real Madrid appeared to hit Capello hard and he has now decided to head for a new challenge.

Juve had a disappointing campaign both domestically and in Europe and Capello has been charged with the task of reviving their fortunes after inking a three-year deal.

Capello takes Juventus job

Capello was disheartened by the financial troubles at Roma
Fabio Capello has left cash-strapped Roma to take over as manager of Italian giants Juventus.
The former Real Madrid boss, who had one year left on his contract at Roma, takes over the reins at the Stadio Delle Alpi from Marcello Lippi.

"Fabio Capello has signed a three-year contract," said a Juventus spokeswoman.

Capello said earlier this year he was interested in testing his mettle in the Premiership and had been linked to London clubs Chelsea and Tottenham.

Roma finished as runners-up to Italian champions AC Milan last season while Juventus were two points back in third.

Lippi to leave Juve role
Lippi, who had one year left on his contract, parted company with the Turin club at the end of the season by mutual agreement.

Monaco manager Didier Deschamps had also been linked with the post.
