we can buy all the attackers and midfielders we want if we don't get cb backbpne you can rely on we wont achieve our goal , CL qualification, next year. So first get Milito, Pepe, Luizao or whoever then we can discuss about Diego, VanderVaart etc.
we r already chasing the CBs...why not work other depts as well

BBC Sport: Claudio Ranieri is sending mixed signals regarding Frank Lampard. It was Ranieri who brought Lampard to Chelsea from West Ham, and now it is rumoured that he will bring him to Juventus. "We will not be signing any more midfielders" says the Juve coach and thereby rubishes the rumours.

Tuttosport: Jorge Andrade of Deportivo could be the solution to the defense. He is available for 9 million and his contract will go out next summer. Also, his agent is the same as Tiago's. Other names mentioned are Cris, Pepe (prefered by Ranieri), Luisao, and Fernando Meira.

In a couple of days negoatiations with Nedved and Camoranesi will be carried out. Quagliarella could come in a years time.

La Stampa: Ranieri has no preferences when it comes to a new center back. He is happy that he has not read about the players they've tried to buy in the newspapers. Ranieri says that they are looking for an experienced and skilful defender who can lead.

Gazzetta dello Sport: Juve and Zaragoza are far from reaching an agreement regarding Milito. Miguel Pardez of Zaragoza says that Juventus is the only team that has made a bid but that the differense between the demand and offer is great. According to the Gazzetta its about 5-6 million differense.

Juventus could sacrifice Marchionni (for about €6.5m) if Camoranesi stays and Boumsong (€4m) to a Turkish club.

Back-up goalkeepers could be Antonioli (38) or Fontana (40).

Corriere della Sera: The Italian daily newspaper has published "La mappa del Calciomercato". The most interesting part is the section "trattive" which kind of means "under negotiations" or rather "possible":

    Mesto (Reggina)
    Milito (Real Zaragoza)
    Huntelaar (Ajax)
    Gilardino (Milan)
    Sissoko (Liverpool)
    Cris (Lyon)
    Lampard (Chelsea)
    Adebayor (Arsenal)
    Kalou (Paris Saint Germain)
    Bianchi (Reggina)
    Barzagli (Palermo)
    Pasqual (Fiorentina)
    F. Cannavaro (Real Madrid)
    Appiah (Fenerbahçe)
    Luizao (Benfica)
    G. Rossi (Manchester United)
    Elmander (Toulouse)

    Sky Sport:
Presiden Cobilli Gigli talked about the Mercato and says that there are limits to what Juve are willing to offer Zaragoza for Gabriel Milito. He continues to say that Palladino is extremely important to Ranieri. When it comes to Nocerino there are several inquiries, but if it was up to the President then a loan would be as far as they would go.

Work on fixing contract negotiations with Mauro Camoranesi are on going and Cobilli Gigli says that it's only a matter of time before it's done.

One of Spains daily newspapers writes that representatives from the Bianconeri will today fly to Madrid to hold talks with Real Madrid regarding Fabio Cannavaro. Speculations that Christian Chivu will leave Rom for Real Madrid could mean the return and a new future for the Italy captain with the Old Lady.

Out of that whole list i would be interested only in Milito, Huntelaar, Cannavaro and Rossi. If we couldn't get one of Milito or Canna, we should go for Cris, though i'd prefer Andrade

About year ago I said who goes now, he's gone!
Samuel is very good defender, but he wasn't good at all in Real. Got the point?
