Empoli have officially announced their acquisition of Rey Volpato and Sebastian Giovinco. Volpato is co-owned while Giovinco is on a loan.

Tuttosport: Juventus doesn't want to sell Palladino, despite huge interests from both Italian outfits as well as foreign. The two main contenders are Fiorentina and Arsenal.

With Zalayeta on his way out from Turin, Juve want a young replacement. Graziano Pellé, from the U-21 national team (you have seen the penalty again Portugal haven't you?) from Cesena and Daniel Cacia, Piacenza, are named.

Gazzetta dello Sport: Barcelona offer 15m plus Giuly for Milito. Juve offer 16, but the Argentinian has already made up his mind about going to Italy.

Secco will meet with Deportivo's president next week regarding Andrade. Pepe (who's also being pursued by Barca) is regarded too expensive.

Bordeaux's new trainer Laurent Blanc wants Boumsong for his defense. Keeping in mind that Boumsong was Deschamps recruitment, a possible sale is not unthinkable.

Igor Tudor has left Juventus and is bitter at the club. He means to say that players that are benched or injured aren't worth anything to the team. "The only thing that counts is training and the matches. Then everyone goes home". Tudor will from now on play with Hajduk Split at home in Croatia.

After a much deserved vacation home in the Czech Republic, Pavel Nedved is returning to negotiate his contract. This will take place in the coming days.

Even Mauro Camoranesi is reported to be ready to stay at Juventus after the club expressed itself in a good manner to the player. Hopefully we will see both gentlemen in the black&white next season.

Corriere dello Sport: Palermo have inquired about a co-ownership of Nocerino along with Miccoli's negotiations. Other sources reveal that Juventus have already accepted a bid on Nocerino from the Sicily outfit worth €5.5m. The player himself would rather go to Fiorentina. Meanwhile, Pietro Leonardi of Udinese has stated that they've already made a deal with Juve regarding Nocerino some time ago, and that all that remains is convincing the player.

Tuttosport: Milito prefers Juve and it could be because of the salary. Juve are offering about a 30% higher salary than Barca.

If we sell Zalayeta and Boumsong and buy Milito and Andrade, we are set!

Pellé and Cacia might cost us the sum we got for Miccoli, we did a mistake there,
someone like Volpato could have been our 5th choice (after Trezequet,DP,Iaquinta,Palla) we have loaned out or sold, about everyone and now we have to buy someone else (probable as expensive as Miccoli, or even more and not as good as Zala is now)

I had a little trust in our managers, they made so many mistakes, but things could have been much worse, still waiting for the big CB transfer....

Corriere dello Sport: Messi calls Milito, but he has already chosen Juve.

I hope this is true but we also need another CB to play alongside Milito. One from Cannavaro/Barzagli or Andrade. I would prefer Canna and if not him then Andrade.

Sport.es: Gabriel Milito will sign with Barcelona. The offer of €17m plus Esquerro and Motta appeals Zaragoza. Juve's final bid of €14m isn't enough. Zaragoza have been clear on that Juventus was the first team in line and that negotiations with Baca didn't begin until they knew what Juve had to offer.

Tuttosport: Juve are chasing Scolari's Portuguese NT defenders Jorge Andrade and Fernando Meira. Jean-Claude Blanc has reportedly said to Laurent Blanc that Juve are also after Fabio Cannavaro.

Camoranesi, Nedved and Blanc will meet on Tuesday after which they'll travel to their summer camp in Pinzolo.

Piccolo and Urbano have their suitcases ready to leave.

Legrottaigle is being tracked by Atalanta.

Criscito could return to Genoa on loan.

Tacchinardi apparently will not join the squad for pre-season training.

Blasi may still have a place in midfield with Zanetti despite Genoa's interest.

Giannichedda is being followed by Siena and Frosinone.

Zalayeta has had enough of being on the bench and has asked to leave. He is very close to signing with Deportivo.
