We were never big enough to buy the Messis, Drogbas and CRonaldos,
but we were always bug enough, not use players like Molinaro, Grygera, Legro and Marchionni as starters...
Nonsense. We've definitely been big enough just not dumb enough. The Galactico mentality is retarded and amazingly Real hasn't learned from it.

We tend to create more 'stars' than to buy them for ridiculous amounts. We bought Buffon for a record fee but we also sold Zidane for a record fee.

I see your point, we were indeed much smarter than that!
But even if we wanted it to, we couldnt pull a ZZ transfer. The Agnellis were never spending that much...
We had no choice and we have adapted as best, as we could do.
We were far more efficient than those clubs and that was the only reason we could compete with them. We now lack the funds and the competitiveness...
Let me remind Cronios that Legrottaglie has been used as a starter in the past. So has worse players.
And do i have to remind you, the outcome??
We took our chances and have tried promising material and non-Juve material players. Esp at troubled times like then...
Legro and Marchio had a good pedigree and we rightfully took a chance with them.
But we would never tolerate such mediocrity, knowing of their value and previous history!!! For such a long time.
We always took a care of having a competitive first eleven team and thats why we could compete with Inter's bench... Now we cant compete neither with their bench or first eleven...
    ENOUGH WITH IT:mad:

indeed enough with it...enough of your persistent berating of the team, the players, the management...you really think Juve was never big enough to sign the biggest players in the world? we have broken transfer records a few times in our glorious history so when you state something like:

We were never big enough to buy the Messis, Drogbas and CRonaldos,
but we were always big enough, not to use players like Molinaro, Grygera, Legro and Marchionni as starters...
well, it sounds absolutely ridiculous...by the way, guess who is the most expensive GK in the world?

Talk about revinisionism.....Us lacking star power as a club is funny really, considering we had most Golden Balls winners of any club (tied with Milan), and usually pioneered in transfer record fee or just biggiest signings of certain periods, all the way from the John Charles (record fee then), Sivori signings, to even Liam Brady, Platini, and Baggio who was a world record signing then. To lastly likes of Gigi and Pavel that are top 10 record signings etc.

forget it man, the guy is negative for the sake of negativity and argues for the sake of arguing...he will always find something to complain about...or he only really follows Juve after WC 2006

Id say 2007 autumn, cause he has totally forgot that we were down in B and lost quite a lot of wc players and also money and etc etc.

    Seriously Cronios, get a grip.

Have you forgotten that when we went down to B we lost many important starting XI players, wc players.

You expected us to instantly buy 5-6 stars when we got promoted again? At least be realistic about your arguments.

It's not even that...nothing is ever good enough, that is what chaps my ass. Never mind the over analysis.

Why would we pull a ZZ transfer? It looks nice and all, but it is being done with virtual money. Real have debts. A lot of debts. And then they spend money like crazy. You really want Juventus to have that same retarded mentality?
