Their high line didn't suit Benatia. He isn't the physical/pacey type of CB, he's classier than that.

And he didn't fail miserably. He was decent when he was 100% fit.

He's returning to his Roma level. Bonucci had nothing on him that season. Please remain fit for CL knockouts.
thats our biggest issue in the coming months. if he stays healthy we have a real shot

Our new leader at the back

And so many people wanted him dropped for Rugani..
They wanted him dropped because he played way below his level. The beginning of his career for juventus was dissapointing to say the least.

Now that he resembles more like what he was with Roma: Strong, calculated and stable, they will want him to play.

:agree: Totally understandable why people wanted him gone, he was sub par for us at best, and whenever he got into good form he got injured, idk how you can blame anyone for wanting him gone, oldish, injury prone, and generally not very good for us, people have short memories, all they have to do is literally go back like 10 pages.

Yup. I was one of them. His resurgence came as a surprise, pretty much thought he was finished. Really happy he has found back to his old-self.

I think Allegri can make him even better than what he was with Roma if he drills him tactically. There is a great player in him, just need to remain focused/composed in games and not commit stupid mistakes. His captaincy for Morocco is also a good thing as it will give him more confidence now that they are heading for the World Cup.

That 20m move is starting to look like a stroke of pure genius.

The Moroccan Malice is menacing @Bianconero81 in his sleep these days.
Tbh, I'm glad he's doing well for us. Now, that our defense has become more sturdy, Allegri should start working on making our offense click. Yes, we do score goals, but we lack movement and there is no clear attacking game plan.

No clear attacking plan. Yet we find ourselves top of the goal-scoring charts. Where has this BS come from about us not having a clear attacking plan? It’s pure nonsense. If anything we’ve been poor finishers even though we lead the scoring charts. We could have had even more goals - case in point the Inter game, where we were utterly wasteful.

I am even more interested in what is "clear attacking plan" and who has it?

Inter attacking plan: kick ball to Icardi
Napoli attacking plan: kick ball to insigne who then kicks balls to back post callejon
Milan attacking plan:
Roma attacking plan: kick ball to Dzeko

When two of the deadliest attacking players in Italy/Europe are off form and we STILL lead the charts in scoring that would suggest we have multiple players capable of scoring goals which would mean we have more than one solution.

Max knows eventually Higuain and Dybala will wake up from their mid season hibernation. In the mean time he decided to fix the defense :allegri:

What we need to do is get to 4-4-2, Douglas on the left and Berna on the right and get crosses in to the big men. Clear plan.

We're playing most our games in second gear too. No point in winning 6-0 against Benevento and then losing your best player due to fatigue. Cough cough insigne cough.
