We can't take for granted that Chiellini and Barzagli will be fit for the whole season. Former is always injured at the end of a season and the latter is 35 yo ffs.

Nah he hardly got time, because Max decided that he is not ready, we played Licht as CB sometimes ffs. Also Martin left already, not as he was a reliable option during the season, but heading in season with only 4 CB is not the smartest thing.

lets not forget this guy is pretty injury prone himself. last season he played only 22 (out of 53) games for Bayern in all competitions (only 14 starts) and the season before that he played in 24 games/22 starts (out of 53). Chiellini and Barzagli both had missed a lot of games last 2 seasons, Bonucci is the only one that plays constantly, which is why i wouldnt worry about playing time for Rugani
