Still can't believe we signed him :D
Just close your eyes. Breathe. And keep those weary eyes of yours closed for a lil' while, those eyes that have seen so much, from El Malaka to Brazzo to Grygera to Molinaro. Then picture Beppe unveiling Benatia in a Juve-shirt, while smiling directly at you. Until he suddenly pumps his fist in the air, screaming your name out like this:

I said oh man, not old man. :D

But meh, that guy still brings more joy than this signing. So you can imagine how golden his pages are to me :D
Right now, I feel exactly the same. I picked up "The Idiot" at the library the other day and I'm currently 200 pages in, well started on Act II. Simply fantastic, I'm enjoying every moment! I'll be sure to PM you when I've finished it

Great book but imo not in the top 3 of his work. But you can't go wrong with him either way

I'll definitely read more of his work after this, that's for sure. Crime & Punishment up next, and a friend of mine really recommended "The Gambler".
Crime & Punishment is the only book from him that I haven't read. I read everything else. The Gambler is nice but far from his best work :agree: you got my support though. You're gonna be amazed.

Now that I think about it, wasn't Crime & Punishment written by the glorious author Beppedor Marottoevsky? If I recall, it's about a sweet old lady that was robbed and then falsely accused and had to go in exile before returning to punish them all. Including great antagonists like Gallianov and Morratishkin and a couple of weird chinese businessmen, who were left wheeping at the end as the old lady kept suffocating their existence, pushing them further and further down into oblivion until they were no more.
