Benatia has informed Juventus that
he is willing to reduce his wages
from 4.2m/year to 3m/year to help
facilitate a deal. #GdS

Benatia has decided: He wants
Juventus. Juve & Bayern will hold
talks to finalize a deal. #GdS

Benatia also contacted Pjanic (they
are good friends), and the latter has
encouraged him to move to Turin.

Not been at his best lately, but when on form he is a beast of a defender. Who better than Juve to bring him back to his best? Dat lo stile Juve Italien tefensive dicdacs :tuttosport:

Wow, this is a pretty luxury buy.. he is great when on form indeed, and we have made wonders of a defender not doing too greatly in Germany with Barza, i think we can do just as good with Mehdi, but again, this is a luxurious buy, and how would Rugani feel..

would fap but can´t see it happening.
from what i´ve read the "only" stumbling block is that bayern want an outright sale or loan+obligation and we want loan+option and nothing else...

I think it makes a lot of sense. We might be deploying 3 at the back several times next season and Chiellini and Barzagli are getting older. Benatia will have time to settle and get into the team and there should be game time enough for both him and Rugani to get enough minutes.

Bringing in benatia makes no sense
why? barzagli is literally at the end of the the road in a year and having benatia to step in full time would be great.

The loan to buy makes sense, buying now is a preemptive move. How long does Barzagli have left as a starter, until 2018? Ideally he might even benefit from having reduced games in the next couple of years, it would prolong his career. But Rugani was stepping in this season...

I don't think Benatia is enough like either Bonucci or Chiellini to directly replace them, but he could replace Chiellini in a different kind of back three.

1m loan plus 20m option next year to be cover with Coman money it would be an awesome deal cuz if he's good we keep him cheap and if he doesn't, we get 20m

What's rugani for, kid deserves his chance, Nd benatia too expensive to be just a sub

Only makes sense if loan w/ option to buy or deep discount outright sale.
We don't need a starting CB
