Players have to be freed from the brainless quick short passing for the quick short passing's sake delusion in the first place. It would make a difference in no time. But it's not going to happen with Sarri.
Totally agree.
Maybe that's why matuidi turned to total sh*t in sarri's term , because he is asked to play the ball quickly, which means added pressure for him , for lack of technical ability.
Usually players have a steady decline ,but matuidi's decline is like jumping from a cliff .

This performance was abysmal and we’ve been saved again by a penalty. 90 minutes of the players creating absolutely fuck all.

rudderless ship and I’m sick of watching the disgusting performances this team churns out under his leadership. He absolutely has to go but the board don’t have the balls to admit they’ve made a mistake.

If we don’t act now we jeopardise winning anything this year. We can’t afford to wait for further slip ups to make a decision when the chemistry and philosophy clearly is not working

This style of play is Allegri's heritage.
I remember when we played against Napoli and didn't have one fucking shot at the goal and lost when Koulibaly made a goal from the corner. Also Before some of Tuz members who are stuck in the past, dislike my post or are offended by my words. I would like to say i rarely saw how Sarri's team play only when we played against his Napoli side. I just don't see that much of a difference to last year. The change of the coach was good for Dybala at least.

I'm loving this Sorrismo brand of football we're playing. It's so pleasing on the eye - the quick crisp passing, those orgasmic penetrating balls, and the bombarding of opposition goalkeepers with thunder bolts from outside the box.
The only one missing bombarding goalkeepers with thunderbolts was bernajoker . He would have showed us how it is done.

We did better in terms of our passing and playing out from the back, but were somewhat lacking in the final third. It’s a process and we are continuing."

“We conceded some avoidable goals, for example today the cross was quite slow and in my view easy to defend. We were coming off a bad performance in Verona, but picked up a positive result, especially as it’s the first leg.

“At times we are too sluggish and shouldn’t have allowed Ibrahimovic into the box. Even if he didn’t touch the cross in the end, his presence was fundamental in stretching the defence. We weren’t aggressive enough in our defending.”

Following on from the 2-1 defeat to Hellas Verona in Serie A, Sarri was asked if he was worried by Juve’s current form.

“I am not worried, as the only real worries in life are your health. It seems a normal phase to be going through, it’s unthinkable for a team to be a continual ascent. This is a sport, so much depends on the physical and psychological conditions of so many players.

“Our growth has stalled a little in the last three weeks, we concede avoidable goals. Having said that, we’ve conceded only two more than the best defence in Serie A, so it’s not that much of an issue.”

"Miralem Pjanic had a good game, so did Ramsey for some time, but he then fell away in the second half. Ronaldo was left too isolated from his teammates to be decisive this evening, but I did not see the midfielders moving it slowly at all.”

The coach was asked about the upcoming clashes, including Inter and the Champions League with Olympique Lyonnais.

“We were in fantastic shape 15 days ago, less so now, but might be great again in 15 days. It’s difficult to tell in football, but I saw some positive signs from this evening.”

Giorgio Chiellini is back in training after his ACL tear over the summer, so when will the captain be able to play?

“When talking about certain players, it’s evident they would be missed by any team in the world. These are top players and their absence is felt.

“Giorgio brings character and energy to the defence. I don’t know precisely how long the recovery process will take. He played 50 minutes today against one of the youth teams, he said he felt good, so we’ll try to organise something a bit more testing next week and then decide.”

Under another coach eg Allegri or even Conte I'd have faith that they would find a solution and plan B when the current system is clearly not working.

I have no faith that Sarri can think of a solution or is even willing to find a plan B in the first place.

Yeah Max got wrong that day. I actually thought at the time Napoli were even worse than us in that game and even less interested in going for the win, they got very lucky with the late corner to score out of nothing.

I thought we'd blown it but Napoli completely bottled it.
