I'm still 100% with Sarri but I have to admit so far there are 4 things I hate it about him already:
1) Zone Defense. Even Bonbon did some comments about already
2) His subs are quite predictable and almost never create any change in the game
3) Stupid comments about our Napoli lost
4) His stupid outfit and the stub in the mouth, I just hate that but we got what we bought so

Again, despite that, I'm supporting him 100%

Regarding the zone defense do you have any statistics to back up that Zonal Defense > Man marking defense.

I have played basketball for quite some time and in basketball you cant man mark opposition for whole game and teams play only during some parts of game man mark defense. While in football i dont know the case but i dont think it’s as terrible as some make it to be.

Went to the thread and read his comments up until early 2018 when he actually seemed to be a fan of Max. Not saying he doesnt talk a lot, but worst insults there were "loser" and "bootleg Mourinho", quite a letdown to be honest, I was expecting a curse on the next 3 generations of Max's family given the guy is apparently afghan.
Well i'm an American so if i dont threaten to drone strike Sarri's house you can chill.

Pure man marking defense is quite rare in football, the only good team I know that plays that way is Atalanta. Most teams play some form of mix between zonal and man marking. Obviously set-pieces are different and man-marking used to be the go to tactic in those situations. However zonal marking has become more popular in recent years as teams have started to use blocking and other tactics to make life difficult for the defending team.

Basketball is a good example but not perfect when is about football. I believe that in current football you need to use a mix between Zonal and Man marking and the main difference between one team and the other is how close you are from one or the other kind. The problem is we use the zone defense too literarily and thats why even Bonbon already mention it after our defeat with Napoli. His words more or less were something like : that's the problem with zone defense, if you see the goal, you would see how we all stand there perfectly.

Set pieces is also a good example, almost everyone use a mix but we are trying too much with the zonal. I thought back to Sarri's Napoli that he used that kind of defense cuz they were basically a bunch of midgets but we have such strong header players and he still are using it. I just don't get it

:howler:
Lol. Calling him a coward and pussy, a pathetic loser lucky that Simeone wasn’t pushing his shit in, a loser lucky to avoid getting spanked and embarrassed by Conte again, the “touch ma dick” meme. Etc. And this is a Juve legend we’re talking about.
I found the loser, mustve missed the homoerotic parts with Simeone and Conte. Anyways, if thats the extreme, Sarri bashing easily is extreme as well.

So he was the idiot back then and now we have three times the amount of idiots around, is it really necessary?

And again you're wrong, you really are hopeless. How about you stop this constant bitching, or is it really necessary?

I agree about some of the zonal marking. I like his subs bc being predictable isnt always a bad thing when the players are that high quality. Yes we tend to sub a striker and AM position almost every game but we have really high quality depth there and it gives us that boost to keep pushing as well as gets the front 3 always playing and playing together. We need Dybala,Higuain and Dybala to keep form and play the hottest 2 bc they are all that good IMO.

I will say Sarri the person is pretty hateable. I really dont like him representing us sometimes but I do believe in his coaching and think we are improving for the better and under hard circumstances as well.

I have mixing feeling about Sarri (before hiring) in the way he wasn't my favorite to be the Head coach of Juventus: I rather preferred Gasperini or Inzaghi, for Italian's sake, even if the two latters weren't my best candidates too. Not to mention the former rough statements anti-Juve held by "Don Pietro" (my nickname for Sarri...) in the past.

The simple reason was I didn't believe in the hype of the Sarriball, not that Sarriball didn't exist, but because Sarriball doesn't simply fit with Juve squad and juventina mentality.

But now Sarris is in charge of Juventus so I hope the best and only the best for him, regardless what happened in the past.

I get the names and why they have to be the ones sub in. My issue is about the reading of the game, for instance a team that park the bus and having touch our box in 70minutes, why don't just try a Ramsey for Matuidi. Why don't push JGC upfront with DC as wingers and Paulo and CR7 in the middle. Why don' t just try it to mess up everything? Every rivals knows exactly what to expect every time we do a sub

That's not entirely true. Some posters still can't get over firing Allegri and they literally offend Sarri because they don't like him for his past or appearance.

As if Allegri was a Juventino when he came here, lol.
The fact that we fired Allegri was not logical move. The fact that we hired Sarri and give them Can,Matuidi and Khedira is not logical move either.
Our summer planing was random if i didn't knew our coach and checked our moves and what we were trying to get was like we still have Allegri as a coach or we have Conte.

I don't think it matters if we like Sarri or Allegri or whatever.
Most important thing is Juve to win. if people don't like Sarri regarding his tactical limitations is fine.About his character i don't know him and i don't care.

Bc some teams that play defensive that actually helps. Look at Napoli. They played suped tight defense and our front 3 looked physically weak and we missed some midfield possesion to get chances
