We were without Conte for 4 months and we did pretty good during his absence. We will be fine without him too.

I`m not a fan of him, but I wish him nothing but the best especially when it comes to health issues. Hope we have him on the bench for the 3rd Matchday with 6 points in the bag
So he's supposed to be out for 2 match days? That means that things are probably not right. A simple community acquired pneumonia does not take that long to resolve. Of course, he very likely has significant underlying lung damage but I sincerely hope it's not cancer or heart disease.

Smokers are notorious for having respiratory issues like bronchitis and pneumonia. Maybe they should add into the contract he can’t smoke?

This summer started off so great, but now...

At his age and for such a heavy smoker 2-3 weeks recovery period for pneumonia is great.

I fail to see where because apart from De Ligt, everything else was either terrible or mediocre.

People seriously saying that they don't feel sorry for him, because he smokes? You can be a vegan cat lover, who is fit and lives healthy life and go down as a 35yr old with nothing significant in the past, so should there be more "symphaty" included?
You can give him all the sympathy you want, I give him none.

First season start in many years that I have no expectations whatsoever. Zero tittuli :(
I agree. Haven’t felt this underwhelmed going into a new season in many a year.

The moment it was known that Sarri would be our coach everything has gone downhill for me. Of course, I hope we surpass expectations and keep steamrolling everyone in Italy and progress further in Europe, but I have serious doubts about these two objectives.

Paratici’s management of signings/selling players has been the most confusing and baffling since the Secco years.

Of course. The vegan cat lover who is fit and lives a healthy life didn't ask for it, unlike Sarri.

Sinisa is under chemo and is managing his team, what are you talking about
lol for goodness sakes it was a joke on our 7 years of having shitty injuries

as in...do we want the players left to only the physios

Is Sinisa with the team though? Chemo every day? I understand that Sarri is literally away from the squad?

Heard Sarri is still keeping charge of training and watching on tv cameras at vinovo. He’s at the training ground but away from players. Big brother style.
