I'm not even worried about next season yet.

Demiral & Chiellini are back. Kulu coming in to inject some youth into the attack. Arthur definitely isn't the worst thing to happen to the midfield.

It's all how we use our deadweight in trades.

My concern with the central defense is Sarri's insistence on playing Bonbon despite having better alternatives available.

Uhh, I don't think Chiellini & Demiral were 100% fit to play (from the start or for a full match) and I think it was probably too late in the season to start experimenting. With MDL's shoulder, you know Sarri was sweating. Rugani has to go.

Two positives to take

1- Beatiful mesmerising football

We can all sit here and praise him because at moments he out shines Mira at regista or serves as a mezz, playing deep or even up front in the hole like he did against inter earlier in the season. All of which are unconvincing. We are so deprived of quality play in various roles in the midfield that we get aroused by the first sign of a brief moment of competence displayed.

That's what Roddy B has done. Not shine. But show brief glimpses of competence while deployed in various roles
