The Forwards

The final look at the facts from our forwards this season

Seventy one.

These are the total number of goals scored by the Bianconeri this season, 50 of which have come in the league.

Below are the main facts about Juventus' forwards.

CR7 EFFECT

Cristiano equalled the record of scoring in 11 consecutive Serie A games in a single season, sharing the record alongside Quagliarella and Batistuta. He also matched his personal best record that dated back to 2014.
Ronaldo has participated in 173 movements that ended with a shot, the best figure out of the league's forwards. In addition, he also managed to match the same number of goals recorded last season in Serie A, with nine fewer appearances: the Portuguese scores an average of 0.95 goals per game, compared to 0.68 with which he ended last season.
Among the players who made their debut in the era of three points to victory, CR7 was the fastest to reach 42 goals, in 52 appearances. Before him, the record was 58 games played (Montella, Shevchenko and Ronaldo). In the Champions League, he has scored 18 goals in his last 12 knockout home matches; this tally includes four hat-tricks, including the one in the Round of 16 against Atletico Madrid last season.

NOT ONLY GOALS

The attacking department don't only provide goals, there is other important data that can confirm it. If Cristiano is first in Serie A for total shots (130), with 53 on target, Dybala is the Bianconero who has crossed the ball the most times (84), creating 47 chances while making 45 dribbles.
In addition, Cuadrado has produced an impressive amount of tackles in a forward position: 46.

the only borderline acceptable excuse would be the league adopting the olympic committee's (or rather lotito's) idea of playing the remainder of the season in 3-4, less infected cities (roma, napoli, firenze and a potential 4th city), and our remaining games would be all played away from home. but even in that case, our squad is by far the strongest, and we've had the best away record of the league for years, so fuck the excuses.

To be honest I think we are, along with Atletico, the most boring squad in Europe. I don't believe a football neutral would sit down and watch our entire games out. It's even difficult for me and I'm a lifelong fan ffs.

Calma. Bentancur and Ramsey have already picked up with Sarri wants. Pjanic is good when rested and without any knocks. Matuidi is only useful against bigger teams when there's a lot of defensive work to be done, or just to press when needed. Rabiot still looks lost, dunno what's wrong with him.

I wouldn't say our squad is boring but our performances have been dire this season.

Totally agree as a lifelong fan this is been as difficult to watch as I can remember (excluding the pre Conte years after our promotion). I even preferred watching as under Capello which is saying something.

Still a mediocre midfield and one of the worst compared to other big teams.

I sometimes wake up and he's still our coach. I go back to sleep, hoping it's a dream, but then come to the realization that this is reality, that this classless chain smoking cancerous inflexible old oaf is our coach :yuck: :inter:
