In short exactly how I feel. The way some players have been treated, then Beppe and Allegri, transfer policy etc... I feel really detached and I thought I'd never say that about Juve.
I don't understand how he sees so much of a difference in our identity between now and a year ago. On the pitch, it looks eerily similar, apart from keeping some of the goals out. It seems like much of his qualms stem from being Allegri and Marotta being gone. I get not liking Sarri, but the club will be around regardless of those who come and go.

honestly the worst thing he's said is this “The objective over the next two months is to make Douglas Costa an important figure behind the strikers. He can change the balance of a game there.”

He's sticking with the fucking the 4-3-1-2. Jesus fucking christ is there someone behind the wheel, anyone at Juventus that can sack this clown before ruins this season.

4-3-1-2 :howler:

lovely Kyle, couch expert on soccer, thinks he's smart enough to call Sarri a clown for reportedly sticking to a formation. Sarri being a coach who in his last three seasons has shattered Napolis point record twice and has won EL with Chelsea. Sarri might or might not be good enough for Juve, but he's surely good enough to not be called a clown because Kyle understands footie better lol.

I dont get this obsession with formation 442, 433, 4312, etc. To me its more important player selection... Current group of players wont magically play better if we switch between few formations, lets say Costa drifts more to the wide than staying in the middle. Do people seriously think this little change will put us in better position to win CL? We need better midfielders, we need to close the gaps in our defense that has been leaking goals left and right, while top 3-4 can occupy any of the roles they feel like and its never as strict. I mean when the time comes, or important CL games and if you keep fielding Matuidi, if Pjanic will still look like retiree, if our defense wont be composed and organized, if Woj will keep making blunders, etc...

Juventus 2015, the team that came closest to winning CL in the past decade and a half, was a clear 4312. Real under Zidane played tons of 4312 in their CL 3peat. Obviously its not something only clowns use, no?
Obviously its about players, just look at the midfield we had back then and then look at the scrubbs we have now. Erikssen was a good opportunity and we should have invested more of our effort to lure him here.

It depends on who is on the pitch and what chemistry and movement is created because of those selection choices. If Sarri plays Douglas Costa behind the strikers, he will naturally move outside towards the wing. If he puts Ramsey behind the strikers, he will stay more centrally and come back for the ball. So it may not matter as much unless Sarri gives specific guidance on where he wants players to move.

At the end of the day we should be playing the best players, or the players that would give us a tactical advantage over the opposition. I’ve always been opposed to playing one system if you don’t have the players for it.

Those teams could play any formation and have success.

Well, obviously our tactics (and by this I don’t mean our formation choice) are a huge part of the gaps we see constantly exposed in our Defense. Our high defensive line, and lack of coverage from the midfield has left us consistently exposed to teams that can actually counter with speed. Zonal marking has worked for shit on set pieces, and leaves huge spaces and mismatched for teams to exploit. Etc.

Do you guys think Juve 2015 or Juve 2017 was stronger ? Juve 2015 was something special but 2017 we had that magical spirit until the CL final.
Juve 2015 was stronger, Juve 2017 played a more dominant style of football.

Its tough. I feel 2015 squad would beat the crap out of Real in the 2017 final game but would prolly lose against Barca in QFs that same year. 2017 Juve up until that final game looked far more convincing side so Id prolly choose them.

The 2015 midfield is miles above our current midfield. It’s not even in the same league. The only facet of the team better now than in 2015 and 2017 is that we have Ronaldo and a more experienced Dybala. But everything else is worse.

Its worrying that 6-7 months into the season the same issues remain. I could bet that if were to play Lazio tommorow, we would lose in the same fashion.

We're in a February and things aren't getting better. We look lost for 30-40 minutes during a game. Then we play a bit, score a goal or two through individual quality and go back to sleep. I think we have been lucky to save some of those 2-1 results and win games.

I can't see this guy getting more from these players and I hope we at least win the Scudetto. Chances are high because we have an easy schedule. We will face most of the toughest teams at home.

WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY.
Directly from Corriere Della Sera (so an actual newspaper nit

“Quest’anno noi non abbiamo più le maglie a strisce. Abbiamo avuto sei rigori a favore e sei contro, sarà quello. Abbiamo giocato il doppio dei palloni in area avversaria, però il conteggio è quello. Probabilmente è l’ora di rifare le maglie vecchia maniera...»

“This year we don’t have the shirts with the stripes. We’ve had 6 penalties in favour and 6 against us. We’ve played double the amount of balls in the opposition penalty area, but the count is that. It’s probably time to re-do the shirt in the old style (stripes)”
