i wanted a more attacking offensively Juve than Max gave us and I guess the decision makers for Juve felt the same. Hopefully it works out this SEASON with 100 league goals and CL title or arrivederci old man.
If we get a creator in the front 3, Ronaldo will break scoring records under Sarri in Serie A. But they’ll need to add another attacker - Dybala won’t be suitable. Bring in James in the front three or Isco. Heck even Insigne. And put Bernardeschi or Costa on the right side. And Ronaldo will not stop scoring. The midfield needs a massive overhaul tho

Might as well go and punch a wall right now, there is no chance of that mercato.
So it is a piece of shit this mercato. We have made a step-back. Is like when you have a nice girlfriend but after some time the relationship needs time, so you break with her but, instead of going after nice girls, you decide to fuck the fat asshole girl who always have hate you and only fucks with you because no-one alse would fuck her.

I don't think there was any point to continue with Allegri, he took us as far as he could and something needed to change rather than to stand still. It's not good timing hiring Sarri with Conte around at Inter and I am worried we could lose the Scudetto next season.

If this is a long term project then for the club then some sacrifices have to be made, we can yield Scudetto after Scudetto but if we aren't making progress in Europe something was going to have to change eventually. Allegri and Marotta have paid the price so the management isn't afraid to make bold decisions lets just see where it takes us.

Dybala is lethal when he's close to goal, I hope Sarri can play him as a number 9 and see if he can get 40 goals a season which I know Dybala has in him

For 90m while he was 28 already? No he wasn't. You have to consider resale value at the end of contact when you spend that kind of money. 30 goals per season is not enough.
The whole Bonucci bringing back was because we wanted to get rid of Higuain.
He was also not a 30 goals/season player ever. Not sure where this idea comes from. He had one year with 30 goals, pre-Juve, his last at Napoli. That’s it.

For people who think Max made him suck, it’s pretty funny as he had his only other season over 30 goals in his first here.

Welcome sarriball. No the coach we wanted as he is a classless thug for a team like juve, but ill wait to see what he has got.

Maybe he somehow clicks.

Lets see if the board was right on this one

Could work if Sarri reverts back to 4-3-1-2. Dybala and Ronaldo but you’d need a good TQ. In Empoli he used Saponara.

I think it’s a downgrade from Allegri, he should’ve gotten a few new players and given a chance to do his thing.

Sarri did get Chelsea a CL spot and won the EL tho, so it’s not like a bad appointment

Fair and calm opinion. I agree with you.

I don’t like his personality or style, but he’s a decent/good coach with some strong points and some obvious limitations.

He’s our coach now, so the only thing is to hope for the best, and cheer this team on.

I think it's a change of direction from the club, attacking football has been the main success of teams in the CL as well as for marketing reasons.
serious question: have you seen empoli and chelsea under sarri? both teams played boring, possession-based, pragmatic football. sarriball = beautiful :tuttosport: attacking :tuttosport: football :tuttosport: is a myth busted long ago.

the sooner you embrace it, the less disappointed/deluded you'll be:
SARRI WOULDN'T GUARANTEE ATTACKING FOOTBALL.
the main point of the sarriboiz is completely invalid. and that is my hope regarding sarri: i hope he forgets that naive all-out attacking football that got him the worldwide recognition at napoli, a goal scoring record for the club, a 3rd place behind juve and roma, and some moderate success in any cup competition they entered, with 6 goals conceded against real in the cl knockouts. i hope sarri will be rational and rely on our strengths rather than his own (or his naive supporters') ideas.

also, liverpool won the cl with the best defense of the tournament, thanks to one of the best goalkeeper and one of the best cb available. we lost in cardiff, because we defended much worse than real. zidane transformed real madrid into a winning machine by introducing casemiro instead of james rodriguez. ajax were out against tottenham because they didn't defend properly. we lost to bayern a couple of years ago with a blatant defensive error by evra. and i repeat: i hope sarri will focus on our strengths, which was teamwork and organization in the last 8 years.

There goes any hope for CL and even top 4 in Italy. Our best hope is winning the EL after we drop out of CL group stage. Nice run of dominance we had.
We have a good team, I predict third place to be honest. I can't think of any other team challenging us for third.

Well..not sure how to feel.. kinda felt that pep was a dream but dreams do come true. I really dont like the way Sarri manages a team but i do like how he plays and we do have the firepower for a very good attack.!
I guess the best is to hope that Sarri proves all of us doubters wrong and give us that treble and CL finally!
Welcome Sarri!

Sarri wasn't signed for this purpose though, his sole purpose is to make CR7 score goals to attract plastic fans and maximize profit. It goes hand in hand with raising the ticket prices. They don't care about the fans that buy season tickets, they want fans every week to fill space and pay more per ticket then go and watch another team also for sky rocket prices. Which manager can ignore the team and focus on Ronaldo scoring other than the same manager that made Higuain score a record amount of goals?
