What I will say might be controversial but here I go.

I'm liking the fact it's more difficult for us to make a breakthrough for now, because we're fighting a lot more for it. Someday when we'll have improved, that will be useful. With Allegri it was another approach and we easily scored a few without sweat and made it past teams in Serie A and it was much better. But I always found that there was something really wrong the attitude of the players not putting in the effort regardless.

Now while we sort out our issues, and even if the quality of our play is not yet good, I'm glad the players find it more difficult. In the long run they might develop new mental resources. Then it might get easier, fingers crossed

It also make games more entertaining :snoop:

Sarri: 'Juve took it too easy'
By Football Italia staff

Maurizio Sarri reassured fans after Gonzalo Higuain’s head injury, but felt Juventus “took it a bit easy” in the 1-1 draw with Lecce and assumed they’d win.
After the final whistle, Higuain felt dizzy and was stretchered off, as he played the last few minutes with a bandaged head after a collision with goalkeeper Gabriel.
Gonzalo is having stitches, then they’ll decide whether to take him to the hospital. He is conscious, answering questions in a clear way,” the coach told Sky Sport Italia.
“At the end, we got ourselves get swept up in a battle that was not our style. We created many scoring opportunities and didn’t take them, so there was a lack of determination and clinical edge. We also didn’t control our lead well at all, so I didn’t like any of that.
“Cristiano Ronaldo was tired both physically and mentally, so it wouldn’t have helped him to make this journey and sit there. When a player expresses his fatigue, it was only right to give him a rest.
The fact remains, we created 10 scoring opportunities and didn’t finish them. I think we took it a bit easy in our finishing and after we took the lead, acting almost as if it was natural we’d win.
“I don’t know if we were superficial as such, but we weren’t as determined as we could’ve been. We shouldn’t think that just because we create lots of chances, we’ll automatically score and win.”
For the third game in a row, Matthijs De Ligt has been involved in a handball incident, as he gave away the penalty that allowed Lecce to equalise.
“Seeing the incident from the bench today, I think it wasn’t exactly on purpose. His arm was close to his body and it took a deflection, but with the new rules, it is difficult for defenders to avoid the ball.”
Miralem Pjanic limped off with a muscular problem, so who can fill in for the Bosnian?
“Bentancur has all the characteristics to play in that role. Obviously, he doesn’t have the same experience as Pjanic, but he can have his say.”
Juve have conceded in eight of their total 12 competitive matches this season, so how can they work on improving the defence?
Most of the goals we conceded have been on set plays, including penalties. We’re not allowing much to come through in open play, but we do need to be wary of the dangers in our box.”
Inter have the opportunity to leapfrog Juve at the top of the table if they beat Parma this evening.
“There are so many games to go and points up for grabs, I think looking at the table now would be not just futile, but also damaging.”

What a surprise, first slip up in a while and all the Allegri nut hangers are out from their caves. The saddest part is they'll be riding Sarri's D like none of this ever happened if he wins the CL at the end of the season (he will).

Well anyways they pulled the same shit with Max is, but funniest part is most of these guys actually turned on Max during our poor start in the 2015/16 season.

i watched the highlights and it looks like we missed a half dozen chances that should've been scored while Lecce got a very fortunate penalty that De Ligt didn't really do anything wrong on.

Not sure how all of this translates to Sarri's fault but then again I didn't watch more than highlights so :boh:

Exactly how it was. We should have won 4-0 if not for our terrible finishing.

Still on top. Stop bitching.

Same was said after our loss to young Boys in group phase last year. And we all know how we ended up. Sarri has to get his shit together before it’s too late. We cant rely on Parma to win us title.

Number of points after 9 match days:

2014/15: 22
2015/16: 12
2016/17: 21
2017/18: 21
2018/19: 25
2019/20: 23

Looks like we are doing better right now than in all of Allegri's seasons apart from his last one, which was by far his worst. :lol3:

But that won't stop some people from jumping to conclusions.

What about the style of play in Sarri's juve Vs Allegri?
