It's not about trusting the management with buying players, but about blindly defending EVERYTHING they do.

But of course the black/white thinking sheep among us don't understand. In their world you are either for, or against the management, there is no middle ground. Much simplicity.

One can be "for management" and still allow that they make mistakes. Selling Vidal was a mistake. Not working harder to keep Morata and spending 90 mil on Higgy is a lesser mistake, but still a mistake. Buying both Costa and Bernadeschi (when we already have Mandzu, Cuadrado, Pjaca as wingers) was probably a mistake. Imo we should have just bought Bernadeschi. A backup for Dybala and rotation with Cuadrado. Or just Costa if we wanted someone who could play both wings.

Regardless, the management has built us into Italian dominance and perennial CL contenders after Calciopoli and then two 7th place finishes. They deserve trust and the benefit of the doubt until we actually see a decline due to their high-turnover strategy. Criticizing individual moves is just fine and dandy, criticizing their overall body of work is just grotesque.

I genuinely think that he would be recognized as one of the top RB in the world if he didn't waste his time at Milan. That sinking ship stagnated his growth.

Max seems to get the best out of him.

Agree except Vidal. He was on decline and not as crucial as he used to be. But not replacing him (or replacing him with Lemina, in hindsight) wasn't the best of moves certainly. Also, I still feel like we wouldn't have bought AS with Vidal staying (due to high wages and fee) and would have gotten Siqueira instead.

Morata - Higuain definitely was avoidable

Lemina .
Thankfully I'd completely forgotten about him.
