Guess who had a worse injury record than Juventus last season?
Bayern? It still doesn't mean what he said is wrong about our lack of intensity and speed. We play at a pedestrian pace, and the graphic in the Allegri thread which shows that we're the team with the least amount of touches in the final 3rd is testament to that, and it is clearly embarrassing.

Are the two linked? Training and the way we play? I don't think so.
But training doesn't only mean improving fitness and endurance. It also includes practicing movements, one touch passing etc

Based on what we see week in week out, it looks like that doesn't happen very often.

Besides our team often looks gassed out after playing one half of football.

It's a combination of both training and tactics. And recruitment of course. Allegri prefers experienced players who will buy into his tactics over young players who require coaching to enhance their skillsets and become better players eventually.

Meh, he can talk about intensity and tactics and what not, but end of the day, both teams went out to Villarreal last season. If anything Bayern were worse than us (at least in the first leg, when they should have had at least 4 goals). Bayern might end up being a better fit for him, and maybe he can finally justify the hype. Nagelsmann can fuck off though.

This is a lot of speculation in regards to our training.

De ligt is probably the best example of how the mental side of the game should always be valued over the physical. Because De Ligt is the ideal centerback physically, like I can’t come up with one flaw. But mentally he’s average. So many clumsy mistakes, just doesn’t read the game very well. And I don’t think it’s something that can really be taught, so his age doesn’t matter too much, he’ll be that same clumsy guy at 30.
