Agresti says it's 80m+ with bonuses, so not exactly perfect. However people keep forgetting we're getting rid of his salary which was 12m net with bonuses. You can have 3 quality defenders on a payroll for that amount...

Considering the necessary downsizing/cleanup there was no way he'd renew either. He was bound to leave sooner or later. Hopefully they reinvest that properly, Pau + Zaniolo please.

To be honest I just think we're very good negotiators and hard to deal with, so it wouldn't have mattered very much. We mostly get our will in the end for some reason.
