think de Ligt’s wish to join us instead of Chelsea will help the most. I mean Juve cant sell him to a certain club if the player doesn’t want to go there. I am sure Chelsea can offer bit more than us but since de Ligt prefers us it will also put pressure on Juve to make a deal with us. Don’t get me wrong, he will still be expensive, but they might agree on more favourable financial conditions for us - smaller base price, more add-ons etc.
