With Rudiger set to leave Chelsea in the summer, I think they are in absolute pole position to sign De Ligt. Have the money, and are a team that is moving in the right direction unlike Juve.

I’m still hopeful we can keep him, but it’s a very weak hope. Would be an absolute kick in the rear. He’s a generational talent who could have gone on to be an icon here, but oh well.

It’s unlikely, but maybe we should consider making a move for Rudiger as well. I don’t dislike Romagnoli and think he’s a decent player when fit, but he won’t be my first choice. Although he is still 26 and might have his best years ahead of him.

I am not saying he is a bad player but I havent seen generational talent level from him since he joined. Ofc the team has been in decline as a whole in this period and so I am curious why you see him as uniquely talented.

What kind of approach is that? Bending over to an agent just like that? Juve is a big club, shoudn't act like pushovers. It's about time we make profits out of this investment. Otherwise just keep him and buy yourself some time to find a couple of quality defenders. I'd be fine with an extension for a lower release clause too. There were rumors about that too.

Juve made an important investment and they should expect Raiola to bring a proper offer to the table. No more bending over please, otherwise we should just avoid Raiola players. They cost fortune and don't bring the proper cash influx, then what's really the point?
85m is not bending over lol. If De Ligt played somewhere else for the past few years and had the same performance no way in hell would I want Juve to pay 85m for him, let alone 150m.

We bought him for 85m in 2019. His amortization is 17m per year. By the end of this season he will have played 3 years for us which means 34m is left. If we sell him for 85 that is a 50m plusvalenza.

If the 15m difference to get to 100m is going to feel you more proud that is fine, but don't then complain when he leaves on free how we could've sold him for 85.

He could extend his contract and I would be all for that, but doesn't seem very likely unless we win the CL this season. (lol)

Good hands tied approach. If we have to sell him it is on our terms nothing less than 100 million euros. For once the Juve management should not bend over like in the case of man City wanting Ronaldo on free transfer it is totally unacceptable for us to accept.

You guys pay too much attention to this. One sentence and you are losing your shit already.
We all knew he wasn't going to be here for 10 years so it's no surprise to see rumours of leaving after year 2 and now year 3. But this strikes me as someone in his home nation media trying to instigate a move.

Btw. Is De Winter a natural fullback or CB? Where does he play normally? @JuveJay
Mostly as a right back now, but it's difficult to say he has a natural position. He could settle in any defensive position in defence or midfield. Might actually be best as a DRC but with a bit of license to push on, but I can see him being used as an athletic right back going forward.

Chelsea is the most interested club right now and they're struggling to renew Rudiger and Christensen. Thiago Silva is also expiring for them. They will need to look for quality solutions and there aren't that many of them available, let's be honest. We will find it out ourselves because if MDL goes away, we will need at least one or maybe even two considering Chiellini's and Bonucci's age.

EPL clubs can spend the cash, we know they have it and you have to milk it. MDL is our best asset next to Chiesa, if Raiola doesn't guarantee us good sum here, we should stop doing business with him. We spent 85m and make no profit? Sounds like a joke no matter how one looks at it. Just don't bend over to Raiola and EPL clubs, they're loaded.

It is the typical hands tied approach. We should learn more from provincial clubs like Fiorentina and Sassuolo they will sell players on their terms and not on the agents terms. Nothing less than 100 million euros plus bonus for de ligt.

De Ligt should think about Raiola because he's put Pogba in the shit for the sake of filling his pockets:
1. United won't sell him unless they get a huge sum
2. Most teams can't afford his wages
3. His prime years are being wasted when he could be winning trophies

De Ligt, Haaland, and Pogba transfers likely happening next Summer, will be interesting to see what happens. I'd take Thiago SIlva, Rudiger and cash for De Ligt, the guy is good but nothing like the calibre of our past defenders.

Gets better by the day. All we need now is for chiesa and locatelli to put their hands up to leave and we may as well get sent to Serie B, it will be easier on everyone.

Never became fan of him because I knew 100% he would leave, but what makes me angry is we sold Demiral too.

This club deserves Rugani

This is why we lose consistently, our club is full of weak minded players. Captain material my ass. Fuck off.*

* if true. Wouldn’t be surprised if Raiola gets himself fired again.
