Seems that there has been contacts with Raiola to extend De Ligt contract... Raiola wants one year more but lower the rescission clause of 150M.

If we accept that we might as well find a replacement for Del Ligt next year.

How so? Even if the release clause were lowered to 100M, who would pay that much for a center back? Even if one did, it's still De Ligt's decision.

I think people need to be less pessimistic and cynical. Raiola likes to talk a lot, but at the end of the day, it is possible to fall in love with a club. There's nothing Raiola can do if De Ligt wants to stay, and ever since he joined, he's repeated that he's happy at Juve and Turin. Before the EURO, De Ligt said it was an honor to think that he will be captain one day.

I don't see the club wanting to sell him at all as he is the future. There's no one better to replace Chiellini, hell, he can even play on the left.

There has been so much fake news about him in the media since he joined. There are still a lot of people bitter that he chose us.

If Raiola is asking to lower his clause for sure is because he already has an offer for De Ligt for that amount... Im 90% sure about it.

Its not been pessimist, its knowing Raiola and they way he works.

The release clause is high but not out of the question for the rich clubs. He is still young and clearly the best young cb going around. Hard to find these which is why we need to maximum his sale one day.

Who do you replace MDL with in the coming years? While the midfield is currently fucked and in need of major help, the defense isn't too far away considering we could lose MDL and chiellini and bonucci are on their last legs.
