Raiola: 'De Ligt agreement with Juve'
Football Italia

“Matthijs de Ligt has agreed terms with Juventus and now it’s up to Ajax,” confirmed agent Mino Raiola, amid reports of PSG and Barcelona revivals.

It has been widely reported for over a week now that the Bianconeri secured a five-year contract with the defender worth around €9m per year plus bonuses.

The initial offer to his club was of €50-55m, which Juve and Raiola fully expected to be turned down, because it was just the start of negotiations.

“De Ligt has agreed terms with Juventus and now it’s up to Ajax on how they deal with this situation,” Raiola told De Telegraaf.

Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are rumoured to be considering another attempt at personal terms, but Raiola insists there will be no Antoine Griezmann-style rebellion.

“That’s out of the question and so is arbitration, as it is not his style.”

Italian reports continue to maintain Juve hope to have De Ligt in Turin for a medical on Wednesday.

From what I understand Raiola is sort of helping Juve. He wants Ajax to keep their promise and sell him cheaper.. he would probably get some extra cash for making this happen :D
Helping Juve by making them pay him 10-15Mil? Raiola only serves himself, sure he can get players the best possible deals but only if he cashes alot from it as well.

BIG UPDATE

So according to that reliable guy on de telegraaf, according to many the most reliable guy for Ajax news.

De Ligt had a agreement with Ajax last season that if he stayed one more season, he could leave for 50 million euros this year. De Ligt and Raiola is now using that, ( my own guess so they can get more money from Juve)

He also says it was a deal they made between them only, not a contract or anything.

So he says Juve offered 50 million euros without bonuses.
