If Nastasic comes in,I think one of BonBon or Ogbonna will be sold.He will definitely come above Ogbonna in the pecking order and I think tied with Caceras. With Barza getting on with age,he will probably see plenty of game time at a CL playing club.

On the other hand,I wouldn't be surprised if Napoli or Milan were to swoop in on him and he goes to them,as he would walk into their starting xi,I think.

Anybody with some brains should be voluntarily walking away from Milan tbh

If we're serious about getting him, we should have no trouble signing him

He's the level of player that we should be able to muscle competition for. No elite clubs have even looked in his general direction.

Juve's problem will be convincing him he'll get enough playing time.

Only serious competition for Juve, if they want him, will come if Roma sell Benatia.

The problem with nastasic is if we are playing with a high defensive line his lack of pace will not suit us what so ever
Allegri biggest quality is his ability to set up a deep defensive line.
I cant recall any italian coach who's better at doing that at the moment

And juventus is suited to do that, since our starting centrebacks are becomming slower

Oh, and to all the Bonucci haters. Bonucci wouldnt play in a deep defensive line, since both central defenders require to be good at anticipating and forward tackling and positionning in the small space, whilst bonucci's biggest talent is covering for trough balls when operating a high defensive line.

Nastasic, Rannochia, both have quite the potential when fielded in a deep line.

He needs to regain fitness form and then prove he is better.
Since Barzagli is out, that doesnt seemb to hard, considering he's so much better in the centrebackrole of a deep defence then any substitude we have.

We should tell him he's seen as the future replacement as Barzagli, and he can learn from him and chiellini.

He's one of these defenders that looks really smooth and classy when things are going well and casual and soft when things are going wrong.

There's certainly potential, but he needs to play to have a chance of fulfilling that.

I'm not convinced Juve could give him enough time to develop properly.
Thanks for the insight.

If it was Conte, I'd agree. But maybe Allegri isn't so attached to Bonucci, maybe Nastasic can get some good playing time.

Barzagli may be fit within 4 weeks, so yes playing time IS an issue with him & Chiellini on the team. Caceres will probably be teamed up as a RB.

He won't be fit within four weeks. If he was to be fit, we wouln't be looking for another defender so desperately.

Bonbon will never be sold, unfortunately.Especially not this transfer window.
