I am afraid football will be controlled by these "dark" forces forever, with all these money in the game, it is hard to keep it clean.

very true :)

btw

does anybody else agree that the English FA is probably worse that the FIGC.
The Fa bad mouth Italy and Serie A calling them cheats and corrupted pizza boys but as soon as somebody mentions there managers recieving bungs from other clubs or players managers they dont admit to it, at least the FIGC hold there hands up and sort it out. The Fa couldnt organise a 5 year olds bithday party never mind a footbvall league :(

One of the "dark forces" he mentioned is your very own SIlvio Berlusconi who forced Milan in the CL where they were supposed to play in Serie B.

Exactly. Like "clean" government, it's an ideal. But humans are too fallible not to screw it up on a not so infrequent basis.

Fixing will not go away, especially with that crooked Sepp Blatter on the throne for 4 more years.
I'm not saying it will. I created this thread to talk about fixed games. Such as Juventus-Siena has been for the last 5 years now.

I could never erase the 2-2 draw of Sweden / Denmark game out of my head. That was scandalous. More so to the Denmark keeper thomas sorensen for the last goal which made it 2-2. He palmed the ball back into danger as if to say someone please score. Dirty bastard! Hope he catches his Girlfriend getting ragged Doggystyle in his own bed by an Italian. Teaches that fuck to mess with us.

UEFA had to let Milan play cuz of hole in the law, and after they changed that law immediately so in similar case team won't be able to play.

After the first appeal, Milan were "rewarded" points that put them in the fourth place. (Berlusconi)
Then came the UEFA and let them in.

Where did you see me defending Moggi?

About a year ago there was a chance to buy Finnish Second Division Matches for around 50'000 EUR ;)

P.S. I know cases from my country... Panionis - Dinamo Tbilisi - there were heavy betting on the outcome of (dinamo winning first half and Paninois second)

    I think the score was (0-1) 5-1

also the Greek league seems really into business:)

He doesn't stop the counter attack ffs, he just stops after a little "hold" on his sleeve. Theatre all the way. Friedrich (was it?) on the other hand who almost pull Freddie to the ground by holding his shirt right before that, that's a freekick.

IIRC the Danes came close to 3-1 several times. What would have happened then? 3-3? It took a whole lot of waves for Sweden to finally score that 2-2 goal, I just don't see the obvious in it.

Of course there was going to be 2-2 banners? It's all just to tease.
thats a different incident, maybe it should've been a foul but am talking about that the other one with Lucic and Klose.

He pulls his arm out to stop klose when he was on his way, how is that NOT a yellow card. And look at Lucic's reaction after he did the foul, he walks away knowing he deserved a yellow.

Talking about games that are fixed and that will be fixed in the future. It's a huge part of football and it deserves a discussion of its own.
