Yet Xabi Alonso... so yeah I'd be confident enough to believe that a half decent progressive modern manager would get more out of the current squad, I'm not suggesting scudetto winners but we'd be closer to inter than we are now to say the least.

I really doubt Xabi Alonso would even think about playing the same way he does with Leverkusen, as he would with Juventus. Very different players with extremely different characteristics.

The most important thing isn't even if Allegri is staying or going. No coach turns this squad into a CL contenders. Or even scudetto material.
A lot has to happen for us to become great again. And it won't happen overnight. With, or without Allegri.
Marotta built a great team. Paratici took over, went all in, and left us broke, facing serie b threats. Now it's time for Giuntoli to start another era and build his team. If the team becomes good enough, we'll start winning again. With or without Allegri. Until then, it's Allegri's job to make the most of Gatti, McKennie, Weah, Kostic, Miretti and Iljing Jr etc.
This is our worst team since we came from serie B. I'd even argue that our serie B team was better than this.

Uhm, beats me which post you've just read but hey drugs enough these days. I'll explain since it looks necessary for you; losing 2 players in one and the same position is not exactly a good thing for a team, especially when it happens after the transfer market closes.

Look Allegri had a clean slate going into this season, he has on paper a very capable team however you look at it, in fact the squad was almost too big to just deal with domestic competition. Allegri more so this season than any other has time to actually implement new ideas, and plans given we are literally only playing once a week.

Ask yourself this, have we improved? no so wheres the progress? the rebuild doesn't have to be about who we are bringing in, like I already said we have enough exciting talent and actually some good players to build this team around but has Allegri done that? no it's the same square pegs, round holes theory with Allegri, and another season with Allegri won't change that at all, 2nd place or not Allegri hasn't even addressed the simple foundations of a resilient mindset, I mean why do we pay this fraud 7 mill a year if he can't even get these players motivated, on that basis alone we haven't built shit, and its the same shit of the past 3 years. how can you build anything if we have no identity? no foundations to build any ideas on? anyone can buy players, stick em in a formation and say play, but building something has to start with a vision and targets, one of those targets this season was to improve our style and identity, hence why we hired Magnagnelli as a coach, have we seen any real improvements on that front? most weeks no, this year's rebuild has already failed because of Allegri's pre historic ways of football.

But hey some think Allegri's 7 mill a year wage is well earned if he gets top 4 whilst creating a bigger gap between inter and ourselves still in what is a piss poor league.

Vidal was potential and nothing more, Pirlo was 31 old Milan reject, Tevez came 2013... what conte did 2011 was miracle, he built a team from scratches, something allegri was never and will never do.

I dont blame conte for loosing against galatasaray in turkey ( we know what uefa did to us) but this was his first years for him as juventus coach in europe...he came from Siena, unexperienced.

And I think Allegri has done a very good job this season, leading this team to a 16 games unbeaten run and a second place. Yes I think he has improved this team from last season. Mostly in terms of mentality. We were extremely strong mentally until we lost to Inter. I'd even argue that we're largely sitting in second place because we've improved mentally. Sure it came crashing after the defeat, but that's expected. Players started to believe they could challenge Inter. And some people here thought so as well. Only to be humbled to one of the best team in Europe. Of course there'll be a dip. Season is essentially over.

Very few players are capable of having the ball at their feet. Almost nobody is capable of threading a pass (except Alcaraz). Most take at least 4 seconds to control the ball. We can't build from the back properly because our defenders aren't good with the ball. Our midfielders either. They have no technique. Our wide players are extremely limited going forward. Their crosses are even dreadful. And our forwards don't really compliment each other. Vlahovic's only ability is to shoot/finish, and Chiesa's only ability is to run with the ball on the counter. Chiesa becomes useless against teams sitting deep.

This team hasn't been properly put together. To be sitting in second place is an overachievement. These three years you mention have been nothing but damage control. This summer will be the first one in a long time where the club is solid, with a bit of a budget, and a sporting director who'll try to better this team.

Firstly I expect this team not to gain only 2 points against Verona, Empoli and Udinese almost in consecutive weeks. This team is capable of beating at least 3/4 of the sides in the league right??

I already expected minimal movement in the summer transfer window but fucking hell we have the likes of Chiesa and Vlahovic to build our attack around, Locatelli and Rabiot are experienced enough, and Bremer is one of the best defenders in Serie A. We already have players to build around and play to their strengths, had Allegri done that? for the most parts no. What I did expect with the lack of European football is Allegri using this spare time to really build a better mentality, a chance to actually impose a different style even, but we've seen none of that.

There's only so much excuse that can be made for Allegri, but like I said he had a clean slate this season, if anything he has no excuse not to show any improvements, why did we even hire Magnagnelli who is supposed to help with our style and possession only for Allegri to literally throw that idea out for some bullshit style where we can't even string 3 passes together, nothing is in sync between higher management, the coaching staff, the sporting director and Allegri, and its evident enough to me that Allegri is the one not willing to adapt or change to what the club seemingly would like to achieve, there for this year has been wasted, another rebuild year coming up next season again, and we'd be stupid as fuck to think Allegri is that man to lead it.

Don't forget how Allegri tried to fool us to thinking that he is "part of the solution, not the problem!" Those were his words! has he resolved anything this season? again no so he's the problem as I had suspected for a while.
