Our games were definitely shit. But saying we didn't have our chances ain't true at all. Even if they were created through luck, opposition mistakes or whatever instead of patterns, quality passing,....

For young strikers they need some predictability and repetition in the scoring positions to practice these situations in training and on the pitch > hone their skills and build confidence > improvise on top of that.

This is not too different from how defenders practice defensive positions and organization in various scenarios they don’t just improvise there’s a foundation of principles and tactics that they fall back on with some room for improvisation to adapt in real-time to the specifics of the situation.

All strikers need that structure and especially young ones who are early in their development. He’s not Ibrahimovic he needs to develop his craft which is extremely difficult when there’s no coaching

When we brougth back Allegri, one of the things he asked to comeback was to have more control on the mercato and the players that we bougth...That means that since he is here, all the players we bourgth have been either approve for him or directly ask to be brougth for him

Since Alllegri cameback we brought:

Leandro Paredes - Gone after a year
Di Maria - Gone after a year
Paul Pogba - Doest exist
Zakaria - Gone after six months and now gone again
Kostic - Seems to be on sale according to latest news
Vlahovic - On sale
Milik - On sale?

Thats 11 players in 2 years, from that list 7 players are either gone or going to be sold these year, after only 2 years in the team and some even less... only 4 or 5 players seem to have a secure place in the team this year and and from those, only 3 players have real impact in the team..

Oh yeah that’s hyperbole for sure. Haaland is likely an all time great talent not your usual good striker. His output would be heavily impacted but he’d still bang a decent number of goals.
